Direct Interlibrary Loan Now Available
Paris Public Library members can now directly order books from other Maine libraries using the MaineCat Statewide Catalog (mainecat.maine.edu). All you need is your 14 digit library account number, so please send us a message, or email (paris.public.library@MSLN.net), or call (743-6994) for your account number if you do not have it. The Interlibrary Loan books are delivered to the library on Monday and Thursday afternoons. There are a few things to remember: 1. You can not order anything if you have overdue materials at the Paris Public Library. . 2. As a courtesy to the other libraries, please do not order anything published in the last three months. 3. Like the signs at the all-you-can-eat buffets requesting moderation: Please do not request more than you can reasonably read during a two week loan period.
